We aim to get more people into good careers with family-sustaining wages and opportunities to advance through skill development and comprehensive, caring support.
Job quality
We engage deeply with our network of more than 300 employer partners, working with them to fill open positions in the immediate term while reducing turnover rates and enhancing workplace culture over the long term.
Influencing
Too many people in today’s world of work face systemic barriers—a criminal record, housing, transportation, childcare—to accessing and growing in a career. We promote policies to eliminate systemic barriers and better align the workforce development system to support the most affected communities.
As a thought leader in workforce development, TE works to pilot new approaches to improve our programs and build up the field.
We don’t settle for the status quo. Over our more than 40-year history, we have seen and tried a lot of different approaches to workforce development. We use the proven WorkAdvance model to connect people to careers and are always working to improve the broader field.
