Job Summary
An integral part of Towards Employment’s overall advancement and community engagement team, this position partners with the Chief Advancement & Community Engagement Officer to drive organizational donor strategy including fund development; grants, moves and volunteer management; and special events. - Successfully plan and execute all development strategies of a $400K-$500K annual fund campaign including the planning and execution of a moves management plan for existing donors, implementation of the Board Individual Development Plans (IDPs), with the inclusion of an annual event.
- Increase annual fund giving by 10-20% annually through retention and acquisition

Provides career coaching and support to the participants of young adult pathway programming. This includes career exploration and guidance, work experience and / or credential training support, job search and ongoing retention support. Individual Career Coaching
- Lead participants both individually and in groups through career exploration using the Ohio Career Information System.

Maintain documentation related to the monitoring of visits.
- Work with Employment Specialist to ensure developing jobs that match with enrolled YA interests.
- Once in permanent employment, maintain relationship with participants to ensure that they are succeeding on the job. This includes identifying and addressing potential barriers related to work/life balance, time management, transportation/clothing/housing/childcare issues; using the Case Manager as a resource as needed.
- Once employed, maintain relationships with program participants to ensure that they have successfully transitioned to employment, that their work-life barriers are addressed, and that they are continuing to make progress on their PCM.
- As necessary, provide career coaching services at the employer site.
- When possible, develop positive working relationships with employer partners to understand the working environment and gauge the level of service needed by employees.
- Attend program team and organization meetings as scheduled and offered professional development trainings.

Provide information and referral to community resources to help participants address their employment and life management barriers that could affect their Career Map.
- Work closely with team members, communicating regularly with reentry services team members, attending training and team meetings, etc.

- Provide backup as requested or needed for other case management team members. Assist with the facilitation of orientations, individual or group, and assessments as needed and assigned.

As part of the employer engagement team, the Employer Outreach Coordinator will play a part in executing a coordinated strategy to reach a broad array of employers and share the full range of TE talent sourcing options. This role also involves educating employers about the various resources, programs , and strategies available to help them retain top talent, foster employee growth, and create an environment conducive to professional development. - In coordination with general Towards Employment employer engagement activities, work with employer engagement (EE) team to identify target employers not yet in the TE network, focusing on those offering quality jobs; conduct outreach to these employers to identify job opportunities for program graduates, including internships, on-the-job-training and full-time permanent employment.

Job Summary
The Employment Specialist works with the Employer Engagement (EE) team responsible for generating job opportunities from local employers that match the skills of TE program graduates. They work with TE program graduates throughout their job search to ensure they are prepared for the opportunities available, successfully navigate the application process and achieve strong retention at their place of employment. They also work with program alumni looking to advance in their current job or through gaining a new position. This position provides career placement to a DOL-funded reentry and employment program in Cuyahoga and Lorain counties (CLEAR). The CLEAR program is a collaborative involving 4 correctional institutions and multiple educational and support services providers and includes pre-release and post release services in both counties. Annually, TE connects approximately 500 program graduates to quality jobs based on their career goals, and fulfills the talent needs of over 300 employers.

Job Placement and Retention
- Based on Personal Career Map developed in workshop, work with participants to understand career goals, strengths, work preferences, skillsets and personal/family requirements to appropriately assist them in securing internships and employment.
- Working closely with employer engagement staff, develop a clear understanding of employer partner needs and expectations; understand requirements of job opportunities and match participants to current job openings.
- Assisting with job search activities including resume updates or modifications, online research, completion of applications and interview preparation.
- Coordinate scheduling of interviews. Debrief with participants and employers after interviews completed
- Conduct follow up and re-engagement efforts to keep participants active until they secure employment

Pathway to Wellness@Work at Towards Employment (TE) is a person-centered, trauma-informed initiative designed to provide participants with essential behavioral health support. Building on TE’s nationally recognized workforce model, this program focuses on addressing the social-emotional impacts of systemic racism, violence, substance abuse, and poverty-induced stress.
At the heart of this initiative is the Manager, Behavioral Health Navigation (BHN Manager). This role collaborates with TE case managers and coaches to develop processes and protocols that promote mental well-being and support sobriety when applicable, throughout participants' career pathways.
The BHN Manager will also establish partnerships with behavioral health providers to ensure participants have timely access to interventions and supports. In addition to providing some direct services, such as facilitating peer support sessions and assisting with individual plans, the BHN Manager will act as an internal advisor on trauma-informed care and proactive de-escalation techniques, fostering a safe and supportive environment for learning and work.

Job Summary
The Senior Manager, Community and Re-entry leads a cross-functional team to ensure that program activities, objectives, outcomes, and reporting requirements are met or exceeded, and is responsible for ensuring quality delivery of activities, oversight of program budgets, and communication and relationship-building with funders and partner organizations.
They are responsible for TE’s community and reentry career pathway programming serving individuals with criminal justice involvement as well as other targeted populations based on partnerships and community need.
