September 5, 2018 – CLEVELAND – Bloom Bakery, a social venture of Towards Employment, is auctioning three exclusive culinary experiences now through September 30th.

A Toast to Cleveland Chefs are not-to-be-missed culinary experiences, ranging from your own private dinner with a Food Network Chopped champion; an insider preview of a new Akron brewery and restaurant; and a luxury lake-to-table fishing experience! Chefs donating their skills and unique food insight to the auction are members of Northeast Ohio’s top culinary talent: Adam Bostwick, the Food Network’s Chopped Champion and co-owner of new restaurant Polpetto in Rocky River; John Taylor, executive chef at Akron’s hottest new restaurant, Lock 15 Brewing Company; and Cleveland Chef and Vice President of Green City Growers Jeremy Lisy.

Auction proceeds will benefit Bloom Bakery’s mission to provide opportunities prepare individuals who face barriers to employment for a career in culinary arts, providing them with training and a path to self-sufficiency. Bloom, a social venture of Towards Employment, does this by preparing people who face barriers to employment with a career in culinary arts with training; producing delicious baked goods, deli sandwiches, salads, and soups using the freshest ingredients at two cafes in downtown Cleveland; and creating meaningful career opportunities for Towards Employment graduates beyond Bloom so Greater Cleveland can prosper.

Auction winners will be announced on September 30.
