You are providing individuals who have faced barriers to a steady job the opportunity to find meaningful employment and a path to self-sufficiency — at Bloom and beyond so the Greater Cleveland community can prosper.
Bloom Bakery is a Towards Employment social venture. That means with every purchase from Bloom, you support Towards Employment, a Cleveland nonprofit that helps people find jobs, navigate life’s obstacles and build careers. In 2016, Towards Employment placed 560 individuals in jobs, including 14 at Bloom Bakery, and assisted 2,500 more with supportive services to ensure they stayed on a path to a meaningful career.
“Bloom Bakery has a dual purpose, providing a training and promising employment opportunity for individuals we serve, while also supporting Towards Employment’s overall mission,” said Towards Employment Executive Director Jill Rizika. “And, the pastries are delicious!” she added.
