Cleveland, OH – [October 21, 2024] Celebrate the power of Cleveland’s people at an inspirational and meaningful live performance where world-renowned jazz artist Dominick Farinacci of Modern Warrior LIVE partners with Towards Employment, a Cleveland-based non-profit helping people—including those with past justice involvement— connect to equitable and accessible career opportunities. The evening is fusion of music, visual imagery and words that tell the inspiring stories of five TE alumni: Alisha, Jaymone, La Tonya, Ronnie, and Tracy, as they navigate the complexities of overcoming challenges and achieving triumphs in their paths to work and successful reentry.
Dominick Farinacci is the recipient of the 2022 Cleveland Arts Prize, a TED Speaker, and headliner in the 2023 Tri-C JazzFest Cleveland. Farinacci co-created the national touring production Modern Warrior LIVE, an immersive music and narrative experience that chronicles the story of US Army veteran Jaymes Poling and his journey through three deployments in Afghanistan and subsequent transition back home.
