Bloom Bakery and Erie Island Coffee Company Launch New Partnership
CLEVELAND, OH – April 20, 2016 – After opening its first location to rave reviews on Public Square, Bloom Artisan Bakery & Cafe is pleased to announce a new partnership with Erie Island Coffee Company in Rocky River, OH.
Bloom Bakery is expanding its product offering to Erie Island Coffee’s Rocky River location at 19300 Detroit Road in the Beachcliff Market Square. Starting May 2, patrons of Erie Island Coffee will enjoy Bloom Bakery’s signature croissants, muffins, sticky buns, Pain au Chocolat, and donuts. All of Bloom Bakery’s products are handcrafted utilizing world-renowned baking techniques from European baking specialist Maurice Chaplais. Chaplais’s methods harness the unique science of slow baking, including a 3-day yeast fermentation process that produces unparalleled flavor.
Bloom Bakery and Erie Island Coffee’s partnership will draw on a shared commitment to satisfying the highest expectations in the food industry. Similar to Bloom Bakery’s passion for the art of exceptional baking, Erie Island Coffee Company has perfected the art of coffee, creating blends with bold and memorable flavor like you might find in Rome or Seattle. The Erie Island blends are known for their smoothness and are never bitter.
The partnership will also be an opportunity to extend the reach of Bloom Bakery’s important social mission: providing individuals with access to meaningful opportunities for work, achievement, and self-sufficiency through the art of exceptional handcrafted baking, thereby breaking barriers to employment and creating a pathway out of poverty.
Erie Island Coffee patrons can enjoy samples of coffee and pastry pairings and hear from Bloom bakers at a public tasting on Monday May 2 from 7am to noon at 19300 Detroit Road.
“Erie Island Coffee has been a supporter of Bloom Bakery’s business and mission from our inception,” says Bloom Bakery General Manager Logan Fahey. “Not only are we excited about having even more people taste our delicious products, but we’re also grateful for Erie Island Coffee’s support as we continue to grow in our mission to make a difference in the lives of our employees and in our community.”
