"It’s an excellent program. They taught me things about preparing for (job) interviews that I did not know and gave me the confidence to be persistent in my job search."
We are committed to meeting the important objectives of the employer: reduced turnover and improved employee morale and productivity.
Welcome
2008 Towards Employment Annual Report

Congratulations to two members of the Towards Employment staff who recently received recognition as community leaders.

LaShon Sawyer, Senior Program Manager and ex-offender reentry specialist, is included in the fifth anniversary edition of Who’s Who in Black Cleveland, a publication which highlights “exemplary African-American trendsetters and leaders.” LaShon is recognized for “14 years of experience championing for services that have encouraged underrepresented youth and adults to achieve self-sufficiency.”

And, Lynne Poulton, Training Services Manager, recently received the Innovation Award from Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Association’s Youthbuild Program for her development of “Rhythm Rack,” a novel interactive training program which offers participants a chance to build skills through a simulated work environment.

Congratulations, again, and thanks to LaShon and Lynne for the dedication, talent and vision they offer to Towards Employment.
