Employers can lose a good employee – all because they’re dealing with legal issues.
In many cases, when the employee receives basic legal guidance or representation, they’re able to focus on work and keep their job.
Towards Employment offers a Legal Services program designed to intervene and support your employee so they can stay on the job – and so you can protect your investment in the employee’s training and skills.
Our Legal Services are available to any employee who is a graduate of a Towards Employment Job Readiness program or employed by a participating Achieve employer site.
Legal services include:
- Legal Counseling one-on-one or in a group session
- Support for an employee going to court and able to manage some aspects of their case on their own
- Counseling and full representation for a wide array of matters, including civil and criminal proceedings in county and municipal courts, domestic relations, housing, and credit repair issues
